This week's project. . .

We painted the girls room last week. For the first time in all of our lives, we have a cute little girls room, that is actually coordinated. We (the girls) are all pretty excited about it.

We are done! It only took a week and much paint on little people to complete. I forgot to take a before picture, so just imagine that the room is green, with a faux finish on one wall and bunk beds.  Tayleigh was tired of sitting up and hitting her head on the bunk, so we took them apart.

Tayleigh insisted that we hang her masterpieces.  Am I a horrible mother for hanging them behind the door?

These adorable drawings were done by a friend of ours in our Provo Ward. She gave them to the girls as a gift, and they have been sitting in the closet, waiting for a cute enough room to be displayed in. Thank you, Marianne!  We LOVE them!

It looks way cute. We too have never had a girlie bedroom for our girls. We finally got some pink and purple comforters with matching curtains. We also let them hang masterpieces all over the room but I think it is fun and it lets them know that they are important. Good job on the painting, I bet it was a big project.

I believe Tayleigh's Masterpieces are just that. They could be right at home in a museum of modern art. Gma ;)
